Smith Glass Company during the 1960s, this piece reflects the renewed popularity of decorative pressed glass in mid-century American homes. Founded in Pennsylvania in 1907, L.E. Smith became known for its distinctive glassware, producing both practical household pieces and richly patterned decorative objects. The Quintec Heritage design draws inspiration from earlier American pressed-glass traditions, incorporating intricate geometric patterns and ornate detailing reminiscent of Victorian-era tableware. Nappy bowls, traditionally small serving dishes with one or two handles, were commonly used for serving nuts, candies, condiments, or other small treats, often appearing as part of decorative table settings.

Originally created as a decorative serving bowl, this vintage amber glass piece has been thoughtfully repurposed into a candle, preserving its intricate craftsmanship and nostalgic character while giving it a warm and functional second life.

The vessel has been filled with 10.20 oz of all-natural soy wax and features a triple wick for an even, gentle burn across its wide surface.

Dimensions:

Approximately 6.75" wide (including handle) × 2.5" tall

Scent: Orange Pomander

Top Notes: Orange Peel, Apple, Peppercorn

Middle Notes: Cinnamon, Clove

Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Vanilla

Warm, citrusy, and beautifully spiced, Orange Pomander opens with the bright, zesty aroma of fresh orange peel, complemented by the rich warmth of clove.
