Talavera ceramics trace their roots to 16th-century Mexico, where Spanish artisans introduced European glazing techniques that blended with Indigenous traditions. The marking on the underside, signed Honduras C.A., reflects the broader Central American tradition of producing hand-painted decorative ceramics inspired by classic Talavera forms.
