Vintage Anchor Hocking Presence Covered Glass Candle

This elegant clear glass vessel is a vintage Anchor Hocking Presence sugar bowl, featuring a beautifully rounded silhouette and a fitted glass lid topped with a sculptural round knob. The thick, crystal-clear glass and simple lines give the piece a timeless quality, allowing it to work effortlessly alongside both vintage and contemporary decor.

Anchor Hocking has been producing American glassware since the early 20th century and became especially well known for its durable, accessible household glass. The Presence pattern reflects the clean, understated glassware designs that became popular for entertaining and everyday use, with an emphasis on substantial glass and classic forms.

Originally designed as a covered sugar bowl, this piece has been thoughtfully repurposed into a candle while preserving its original lid. Once the candle has finished burning, the vessel can be cleaned and enjoyed again as a small catchall, trinket dish, or decorative covered bowl, giving it yet another life.

The vessel has been filled with 5.17 oz of all-natural soy wax.
