Gorham, founded in 1831 in Providence, Rhode Island, is one of the most respected names in American silver, known for producing high-quality sterling silver pieces for both everyday use and formal dining. The Plymouth pattern reflects a restrained elegance, drawing from historic forms associated with New England craftsmanship and traditional American households.

Originally intended for serving gravy or sauces at the table, this piece features a classic elongated bowl, pedestal base, and gracefully curved handle for balance and ease of pouring. The form is both practical and refined, designed to move seamlessly from kitchen to table during shared meals.
