Indiana Glass Diamond Point Candy Dish Candle –

Pressed Glass with Scalloped Rim

This vintage Indiana Glass Diamond Point candy dish is a pressed glass bowl featuring a distinctive geometric diamond pattern, three applied feet, and a softly scalloped rim. The faceted surface catches and refracts light beautifully, giving the piece a luminous presence even before it is lit.

The Diamond Point pattern was produced by Indiana Glass Company, one of America’s most prolific glass manufacturers throughout the 20th century. Founded in 1907 in Dunkirk, Indiana, the company became widely known for producing decorative pressed glass that brought elegance into everyday homes. The Diamond Point pattern rose to popularity in the mid-20th century, appreciated for its bold texture, clarity, and ability to mimic the brilliance of cut crystal at an accessible price.

Originally designed as a candy dish, pieces like this would have been displayed on coffee tables and sideboards, filled with sweets during gatherings and celebrations. Its sculptural form and raised diamond pattern made it both practical and decorative.

Now thoughtfully repurposed into a candle, this dish has been given a second life. The three wicks create an even, radiant burn, and when lit, the glass amplifies the glow — casting soft reflections through its geometric pattern.

The vessel has been filled with 9.61 oz of all-natural soy wax and features three wicks for a balanced burn.
