Vintage Anchor Hocking Emerald Green Fairfield Footed Bowl Candle

This vintage emerald green glass bowl was produced by Anchor Hocking as part of its Fairfield collection, featuring beautifully fluted sides, a gently scalloped silhouette, and a sturdy pedestal base. The rich green glass catches and reflects the light beautifully, giving the piece a jewel-like quality that becomes especially striking when the candle is lit.

Anchor Hocking has been producing American glassware since the early 20th century and became particularly well known for creating attractive, durable glass pieces designed for everyday use and entertaining. The Fairfield pattern was introduced during the mid-20th century and is recognized for its distinctive vertical fluting and elegant footed forms. Produced in several colors and shapes, these pieces reflected an era when colorful pressed glass was a popular way to bring both practicality and decorative detail to the table.

Originally intended as a serving or decorative bowl, this vintage Fairfield piece has been thoughtfully repurposed into a candle, preserving its recognizable mid-century design while giving it a warm and functional second life.

The vessel has been filled with 14.4 oz of all-natural soy wax and features a triple wick for an even, gentle burn across its wide surface.

Dimensions:

Approximately 6" wide × 3.75" tall

Scent: Evergreen & Apple

  • Top Notes: Apple, Mandarin
  • Middle Notes: Fir, Juniper, Cranberry
  • Base Notes: Cedar, Sugar

Crisp and woodsy with a touch of sweetness, Evergreen & Apple opens with fresh apple and bright mandarin before unfolding into aromatic fir, juniper, and tart cranberry. Cedar adds warmth and depth at the base, while a hint of sugar softens the fragrance. The combination feels like the transition from autumn into the holiday season, pairing beautifully with the vessel’s deep emerald green glass.

Once the candle has finished burning, the vessel can be cleaned and repurposed as a serving bowl, decorative catchall, or collected piece of vintage glassware.

This piece is one of a kind.

Please note: As a vintage glass piece, subtle variations, surface wear, or minor age-related imperfections may be present. These authentic details speak to its history and unique character.
