Brockway American Concord Amber Glass Bowl Candle
This vintage amber glass bowl was produced by Brockway Glass Company in the collectible American Concord pattern. Recognizable for its raised starburst and stippled detailing, along with its rounded beaded rim, the design reflects mid-20th century American pressed glass craftsmanship — decorative, textured, and made to glow in candlelight.
Brockway Glass, founded in Pennsylvania in the early 1900s, became known for producing durable yet beautifully patterned glassware for American homes. The American Concord pattern embodies that era’s appreciation for geometric symmetry and warm, saturated color. Amber glass in particular was prized for the way it deepens and enriches light, creating a golden, honeyed ambiance.
Originally intended as a serving or candy bowl, this vessel has been thoughtfully repurposed into a candle. When lit, the textured pattern catches and amplifies the flame, casting a soft, radiant glow through the amber glass.
The vessel has been filled with 8.04 oz of all-natural soy wax and features three wicks for a balanced, luminous burn.
