Vintage OMC Otagiri Black Metal Pillar Candle Holder

This vintage pillar candle holder was produced by OMC Otagiri Mfg. Co., a company known for its distinctive decorative home accessories and giftware throughout the mid-to-late 20th century. Otagiri pieces are recognized for their thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and ability to blend functional objects with sculptural forms.

Crafted from heavy cast iron or black metal, this candle holder features a simple pedestal silhouette with a wide circular platform. Its substantial weight and dark finish give the piece a timeless, understated character, while the elevated design allows the warm glow of a pillar candle to take center stage.

Designed to hold a pillar candle, its compact proportions make it easy to style on a dining table, mantel, console, bedside table, or shelf. The sculptural black finish works beautifully on its own or grouped with other vintage candle holders of varying heights and materials.

Vintage Otagiri home pieces are appreciated for their distinctive forms and enduring craftsmanship. Over time, the metal naturally develops subtle variations and signs of age, giving each piece a sense of history and character that cannot be replicated in something newly made.
